My Career Journey

Three words come to mind when I think about my journey in my career: intentional, growth, elevate. I feel these three have all shown up in some form in every position I have held. I am grateful for this because when I reflect on where it all began to where I find myself today, to say I started from humble beginnings sounds cliche - but, it isn’t. This journey has had me saying:

I am a solopreneur. I am a co-founder. I am a C-suite executive. I am a product manager. I am an innovator. I have a patent. I am a building and leader of organizations in customer success and customer experience for start-ups and IPO tech companies. I am a board member. I am an advisor. I am a mentor. I am an individual contributor. I am a people leader.

And, plus I am a mom + wife + friend.

I won’t unpack every job I have every held because no one wants to see my attempt at a second job when I was 20 as a hostess at Joe’s Crab Shack! (The trauma of that interview process.)

What is most relevant is what I’ve been up to over the last 15 years and the top 6 areas I’ve been lending my expertise and continually growing.

I say yes to purpose-driven initiatives and companies. Here is what I have said yes to lately.

  • In 2022-2023, my schedule was indeed packed with exciting ventures. I took the helm at Tiphaus, Inc., spearheading the development and launch of a digital banking experience to complement their SaaS market offering. In just six months, we successfully introduced the hausmoney brand and financial product offerings, witnessing over $4 million in tip-earnings deposited into FDIC-insured accounts.

    Through a robust strategic partnership ecosystem, coupled with a visionary brand and experience strategy, hausmoney made a significant impact on the financial prosperity of thousands in the hospitality industry. Leading this initiative has been a source of immense pride for me!

  • Financial equity is impact that is felt through generations. When I said yes to the role as Head of Customer Success at Synctera it was with intentionality for the the depth of impact I had the opportunity to reach.

    Working directly with some of the largest community financial institutions in the United States, I had the privilege to serve as a strategic partner to their BaaS (Banking as a Service) models and strategies.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • I spearheaded a technology startup focused on developing a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) marketplace within the fuel retail, wholesale, and delivery ecosystem. In this role, our primary goal was to enhance the financial prosperity across the entire downstream value chain system. We did this by building and launching a marketplace (SaaS and mobile app) product that optimized the entire supply-demand-delivery-payment life cycle, ultimately generating supply and delivery cost savings for retailers, supply and operational cost savings for wholesalers while concurrently opening new financial wealth and income avenues for delivery carriers and drivers. Our innovative platform not only streamlined operations within the downstream value chain but also led to a notable uptick in earnings for truck drivers. By optimizing load deliveries, we empowered drivers to increase their income, contributing to a more efficient and lucrative fuel industry ecosystem.
